I went out last month with no problem at low tide. Just remember stay closer to Holden side. Follow the cans when you past the beach front.

I mostly use Stradics, but I do have a Diawa BG Series that I like. They just don't have as much drag force, but it is very reasonably priced and I do like the reel.
