It was special out there for sure. It was nice leaving Beaufort Inlet but once we got to the shoals and made that crossing it turned to crap. It did finally slick out around 12:30 or so.

Try a thin coat of grease on the rams. There is a rubber piece at the top of the cylinder that can cause that noise when the rams aren't lubricated. My yamahas do this occasionally as well.

I do my own and was told by my dealer that as long as I keep all receipts of maintenance items and keep a log of services done it would still be warrantied
