I donít think you are gonna get much for your money by going from the GF to the CH. Having said this.....

Outside is the way to go....I ran from masonboro to beaufort very easily on a calm day this past October. Had to dodge the marine exercises down around Lejeune, but it was a very easy, enjoyable run.
