Just thought I would share some stats about the site.....
Jan 2007 as of Jan 26th
Total Hits 4,159,723
Total Pages 793,480
Total Visits 78,149
Total Unique Referrers 2807
That means in Jan we had Almost 800,000 page views coming from almost 80,000 Unique people and 2800 site actively linked to us.
The 4,149,723 is total Hits. This is the number you see SPOUTED all over the place from some other sites. that number IMHO does not mean SQUAT! and when you see someone say we x number of Hits last month.....know they are blowing hot air up your butt! Why? Becasue hits is the number of files that were called.
Think about the front page here at FryingPanTower.Com. My Logo is 1 hit. The bouy map is about a dozen hits, the Scrolling Froum block is about 20 hits. This is all to load 1 page 1 time. The number that matters is Page Views and unique IPs. 800,000 and 80,000 unque IPs is pretty STRONG in Jan when it is cold and nobody is fishing....
