GREAT REPORT...I LIKE FORST HAND REPORTING!! TRIGGERS ON THE PIER....DOESN'T SURPRISE ME....I REMEMBER MAHIS UNDER THE MHC- BEAUFORT HIGH RISE BRIDGE YEARS BACK....

As far as Bonito , Bonita I have seen it both ways and have researched it thoroughly. Since the scientific name is sarda sarda the "A" or "O" has no meaning either way. Although Bonito is used more in the scientic community. There is no consensus on the name. It is kinda like Puppy drum, Red Fish, Red Drum, Channel bass and spot tail bass.
