I really like my Simrad NSS EVO2.
I'm only using the GPS and autopilot features right now.
Have a side scan transducer hooked up, haven't really used it.

Haven't decided what transducer to install on it.

Older raymarine is my bottom machine.

Larry Rowland on this site. He is working on my boat now. I have an nss evo2 if you want to call him and go by and look at the functions. He is also a certified garmin installer. I have had both brands and you will be happy with either.

Jack,

I get just about all of my electronics from thegpsstore in OIB. They have very good prices. As far as the installers gps store is currently recommending they are both so busy they won't even return your call. Well, they might if you have an 80 foot yacht and you want a total bridge rewire and equip install.
