Hey Folks-
Wife scheduled a continuing ed class for WB so she decided we should make a weekend out of it. She'll be in class most of Fri/Sat, so I'm thinking I'd like to get some decent bottom fishing in, preferably targeting some grouper as I don't get to do that very often. Gonna invite my buddy who takes me fishing on his small boat out of hatteras all the time to tag along (we pretty much always troll).

I'm sure there's gonna be a million suggestions, but let 'em rip. Who's a good person to take a couple guys out grouper fishing. Two guys that know their way around a boat, but don't do much bottom fishing, although we occasionally do drop a jig - which almost always results in an AJ if anything.

Commence endorsements!

Both out of CB but I would recommend Capt Dave or John Batson/Cheerio Lady for a grouper trip.

I have fished with all three recommended. Choose any one and you will not be sorry.
