Model is showing 35+ Kts wind and 15+ ft seas for a week out... Is there some weather system out there that I don't see or is the model interpreting something?

Check it out. NWS/NOAA shows Matthew right off the N.C. coast next Thursday. http://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/medr/nav_conus_pmsl.php?fday=7&fcolor=wbg . Lets hope this forecast is like most of their other forecasts and they miss it.
