Greetings All,

I have good news and Bad news....LOL!

Let's Start with the BAD news.
ReefCast will now cost .07 cents a day. That is 24.99 a year (+paypal fees)
All access across all platforms. So once you sign up....vie Web (HERE), Vie the Andriod app or the Iphone app....You will get access across all 3 platforms.

The Good News

EVERYONE gets a FREE 2 week trial. So everyone is good for the next 2 weeks.

Anyone that is signed up for SeaView (Soon to be SeaCast-Next Project) will get ReefCast as part of that package. So if you are a Seaview Subscriber....No need to do anything.

I have been working pretty steady to bring new features to the Site.
In Bluewater Supermap we have added the SeaCast Model. Forecasting many data layers for both Today and Tomorrow.

I also have a completely mobile version of the site coming and I have a few more cool ideas in my head. So stand by and I hope you enjoy the site.

If anyone has any problems please let us KNOW....The HElpDesk phone number is Helpdesk! - 919-589-7258 or just drop us an e-mail at HelpDesk@SaltwaterCentral.Com

Thanks,
Capt_Dave

PS...I will fix the PM feature in the forums.

Bluewater Supermap worked as expected just a moment ago.

No changes have been made it it.

If you subscribe to Seaview....then you do not need to do anything....You will get ReefCast access as part of that subscription.

When does this start? I have the Reefcast app and am a Seaview subscriber, but don’t have full access to the App.

Hello, I'm handling the ReefCast apps for SaltwaterCentral. The ReefCast apps should be working now, including with your trial accounts. Please post a reply here if yours still isn't working.

Did you hit the purchase button for ReefCast on the app? If so, you probably subscribed to the trial version on the app. After two weeks, you would be charged by Google but since you already paid for the web version on the site, you should cancel your app version.

To do this, go the the Play Store app on your phone, then hit the menu button (top left) and go to Subscriptions. You should see the ReefCast trial subscription there. Tap it and then hit Cancel Subscription at the bottom.

We apologize for the inconvenience and are currently working to fix the app so that your ReefCast subscription on the website works on all your devices.

Same thing for me, but on IPhone app. I have Seaview, but app wouldn’t work until I hit subscription button. Where do I cancel on iPhone?

Apologies, we are working on a fix for this.

To unsubscribe on iOS, go to the settings app and click your name, then tap your Apple ID, then you should see ReefCast under Subscriptions. You can cancel from there.

If you can log into ReefCast on the website but your iPhone/Android app still takes you to the purchase screen when you click on ReefCast, try killing the app process completely and re-opening it. If that still does not fix the issue, please post in this thread with:

- What kind of device you are trying to access it on
- The username you are using
- Which version of ReefCast you are using (trial or paid)

Thanks for your patience as we resolve this issue.

Bo,

I would bet it is a “refresh” issue. Close your browser and then reopen it and it should work out of the box.

Same with the app.....shutdown the app and reopen it and it should work.

We currently only validate your subscription when you open it. So you have to close it and then reopen it to get it to go through the validation process again.

We will address this issue in the next update ( that has some other cool stuff in it)

Dave

Dave
I appreciate the time and effort you put into this, but I am still unable to get Reefcast to work on the app. The PC works fine and I can view reefcast through the browser on my phone, but still get the "got to pay for it" screen on the app. I tried your suggestion to shut down the app and even went so far as to uninstall and reinstall, but still no change.
I'm not that concerned about it, as I can view it from my browser, but the app would be more convenient.

Thanks for your help
