Took advantage of the really nice weather last wweek and ran out of Pensacola for some deep drop. Lots of fun and good success. Posted the full report and pics on my blog (Dont forget to sign up for free Yeti cup there). http://www.bluewaterhowto.com/?p=495. Here are some of the pics:

How deep do you go? Is there any structure out there like the ARs to target?

I don't know about the long tailed seabass recipe but Paula Dean has an amazing pecan crusted grouper recipe. My wife isn't huge on eating fish but I made it on a Tuesday and she wanted it again Thursday haha.

Beware of the asparagus!! It will make your pee smell really, really, really bad as opposed to the rest of us who's just smells real bad!!

We fished between 500 and 800 ft. Yes there is structure in some places. Ledges and some deep wrecks, Tile fish tend to be on flat muddy bottom though.

So, what I understand about asparagus is it just helps you smell your pee that is already smelly. Sort of like, if a bear pees in the woods and there is no one there to smell it, does it smell bad? :)
