I ran both over last weekend.

I hadn't run NRI in awhile, and my take from last weekend is that it is not great but it's doable... the survey posted on the USACE Wilmington website looked to be pretty accurate...

Browns was a bit better, but not by much. Pretty easy to read where the water is in the inlet, but not super deep nor easy....

My opinion-- Bogue, especially with the recent and ongoing dredging, is the best of the worst of the three right now. Follow the latest survey, and it is not bad.

I've been running Brown's for the last few months since Bogue got so iffy. If you take the channel in that has two green bouys on the ICW there is tons of water. Once you get to the inlet just stay in the center and head out. You can easily see the shoals on both sides. When I went out last week there was 4 ft at almost dead low tide.
