I'm newly certified and definitely a newbie to diving. Looking to get a wrist-watch style dive computer, but don't think I really need anything too complex. Does anyone have any recommendations for a beginner to intermediate level dive computer? I'm looking for something that will suite my needs for a reasonable price. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

The wristwatch type computers have very small screens that are hard to read underwater, I would look at the wrist mounted "hockey-puck" ones that have larger screens. Depending on the features you want, you should be able to find a good used one in the $150.00 range.

I use a Suunto vyper. Nothing fancy and a little conservative but it works well and is easy to use.

My crew all uses Oceanic wrist computers. A little tricky to start out with, but a great dive computer. I have the Atom 2 and a few others I dive with have the GEO. Both very similar.
