We are looking to spend a long weekend in Beaufort over the 8th of July. We are bring the boat up from Wilmington for fishing and maybe a dive.
We are probably doing to the Airbnb thing and have found a place or two to keep the trailer.
Question is I'm wondering how much a slip might be to rent for two to three days or if none has somewhere available on the cheap we can keep a 20' center console.

Thanks in advance.

If you're staying in Beaufort, check with the Boathouse. Niiiice place.

Kind of a long ride through the no-wake zone, but not bad scenery. Over in Atlantic Beach Anchorage Marina guys are great, nice docks. Morehead City has City docks. Sure the local guys can give more ideas, I don't live there, but my boat does! lol

I recommend the Boathouse as a good option. It's not a long ride of no wake if you cut out the east side of Taylor's Creek. The channel is marked on the east side and plenty of water.

Ryan:

Have you looked on Harkers island? I pay 15 a night to keep my boat at the Fishing Center. Don't worry about the skinny water I can help you with that.

Thanks. We looked at harkers island too but decided on being able to have dinner and drinks in Beaufort was a good bonus this time. I still want to stay on Harkers Island though. We got an AirBnB across fromt he water. I guess there is a boat ramp real close.

Yes , there is a public boat ramp just down Taylors Creek from where all the restaurants are. It a nice ramp too. If you hang a left out of Taylors creek (on the Harkers Side) there is some good fishing up in that marsh.

Beaufort Yacht Basin is $2/ft and has very nice floating docks. Kept my boat there last weekend during the start of the Big Rock.

I don't know how much room you need, but if you stay at Palm Suites in Atlantic beach. They have slips for $20 and a boat ramp. The ramp is a little tight, so you need to be a good backer. Most rooms sleep 2 to 4 people, some will sleep more. It's where I stay when I take my boat down.
