I just looked through ReefCast.....

Cape Fear.....Glancing blow.
Cape Lookout.....More but still a glancing blow....
Cape Hatteras.....BOOM.

Go into ReefCast and click up and down the coast.

We will see what happens.

Dave

The direction of this one changes just a bit every six hours, but the velocity/width does not. It will be a bad one. No matter where landfall is.

Since Iíve been looking at this site Wavecast has been dead on for many hurricanes way before anybody else talked about them. Itís been showing purple and blue, bad ass stuff for the past week. Watch out NC coast.

Just looked at reefcast showing same as yesterday. If hatteras is getting the worst wind and waves, seems to me the storm should be just to the west of there, the NE quadrant being the worst? That puts it between lookout and hatteras, into the pamlico, pushing all that water up the neuse and pamlico rivers.....that would be ugly.
