Alrighty fellas...leaving Saturday midday and heading towards the 100/400, BlackJack and Steeples. Will have two boats out there doing an overnighter Saturday night into Sunday. If you ever wanted to get out and do something like that...come on out. RENT MONEY and ROCK BOTTOM will be there on Channel 6 or 16! Come get some...weather is looking absolutely perfect. Should be comfortable temperature wise also.
WHO's IN????

I dont want to sound like a dumba** when I ask this but I would assume that you anchor at night out there? I have never spent the night out on a boat in the ocean. Its a little different than lake erie lol

Depends on currents and such. If not a lot of current you can just float. Otherwise you will have to come inshore a little and anchor. plus it depends on what you are doing. Some will take turns fishing throughout the night and such. We did this in Alabama in the gulf at a rig.

Sucked...caught some bottom fish...nothing worth bragging about. Trolled for wahoo and nothing...caught a few mahi-mahi. Other than that mostly dead out there. Was really weird and calm. Nice to camp out but damn was hoping for a better bite.

Not this weekend but one sometime soon I was wondering when you do an over nighter, do you anchor up over a wreck or something close to the break out there or do you drift. I figured you could possible drap up some gags if you anchored up over a wreck out there. Then wake up at the first sight of light and troll the break?
