DOVER – Governor Markell is seeking nominees for Delaware's obligatory seat on the Mid-Atlantic Fisheries Management Council (MAFMC).  The MAFMC is responsible for managing fisheries in federal waters that extend from three miles to 200 miles offshore, from the coastal states of New York through North Carolina.  The MAFMC manages fish species that are very important to Delaware, such as Summer Flounder and Black Sea Bass.
