Has anyone been turned around at the inlet and been told you couldn’t go offshore during this cluster?
Wrightsville and a couple other beach communities have closed beach access, but NCWildlife recently reiterated that boat ramps are still open. Not sure how long that will be. Other than that, short of a statewide "shelter in place" order, it's unlikely they'll close the waterways, inlets, or ocean.

Honestly, I can't think of a better way to enjoy the healthy effects of the sunshine and fresh salt air, and to maintain some social distancing, than getting out on the ocean... especially if you don't have to deal with the crowds at the boat ramp.
