Hey there,

I moved my "home port" to Southport 'bout a year back from up near Raleigh and part time Carolina Beach . Now I'm settled in to a new marina, new slip, new rig etc. but want to get connect with folks here in my new full time home. I love inshore and offshore and have quite a few years of experience fishing the NC coast. I have a pretty decent rig, well equipped, lots of tackle etc. and Ok with being captain, but also great with pitching in on someone else's boat for fuel, ice, bait, rigging, cleaning etc. So... being a hell of a guy and fun to fish with, should be easy to get together and get the deck a little bloody.

Hello I am just getting my charter business off the ground. Been fishing for years but just started running charters and have had some pretty successful trips these pass few months getting buddies and other close friends to mate with me. However they are not always available because of their other jobs.

I have two (morning and afternoon) nearshore half day charters booked for Thursday July 7th one Friday morning July 8th out of Sneads Ferry. It’s been difficult finding consistent mates mostly because these are sporadic last minute trips people are booking.

My boat is a 35 foot Pursuit center console 700 Hp. Fully loaded with latest safety equipment and top quality rods/reels/lures. If anybody with experience mating is available to help July 7 and 8th, I would greatly appreciate the assistance (does not
haveto be a true mate but significant offshore fishing experience is required). 20% commission is guaranteed. Hopefully will also be a fishing buddy to go out on non-client days for free because I often fish by myself when not running charters - nearshore to Gulf Stream trips.

We have a big drum trip booked out of Oriental on 26 Aug and lost our 4th. 10 hr (6-11 in morning big popping corks and 5-11 that evening cut bait on the shoals). It is with Capt Jennings Rose,. That is prime season for big ones!!!! Charter is $900 plus tip.

Have the Oriental Marina Hotel booked with 4 beds For nights of 25 and 26. Cost will be about $400+- divided by 4.

I am taking my 23 Kencraft Bayrider to fish with the 27th. Only cost would be drinkds, food, gas and bait. Probably not stay past early evening on the 27th. I will have rods unless you want to bring 1-2.

Trip with hotel, charter, tip etc

I anticipate total cost per person somewhere around $450-500 for two days fishing. Not counting food etc.

will require $150 deposit. Leaving out of wilmington and you can ride up with us if you are close or just meet at Oriental.
