                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="187" data-end="430">Fishing in Cancun has been a bit slow these last days — we’re right in that tricky transition between seasons, when the usual patterns shift and some species move deeper. Most boats have been struggling to find consistent action.</p>
<p data-start="432" data-end="632">But our crew found a patch that’s absolutely loaded. The bite turned on fast — barracudas hitting hard one after another, mixed with a few snappers and jacks for color. The deck turned silver quick.</p>
<p data-start="634" data-end="829">Now everyone’s trying to figure out where we dropped lines, but we’re keeping the coordinates quiet for a bit longer. Let’s just say it’s not far from the drop-off, and the current was perfect.</p>
<p data-start="831" data-end="957">Here’s a look at today’s catch — not bad for a “slow” week in fishing in Cancun.</p>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p data-start="412" data-end="644">Hey everyone,<br data-start="425" data-end="428" />I caught this fish a few days ago while bottom fishing off Cancún, Mexico, in about 200 feet of water. I’m thinking it might be some <strong data-start="569" data-end="578">porgy</strong> (maybe a deepwater or knobbed type?), but I’m not totally sure.</p>
<p data-start="646" data-end="812">The fish was caught on squid bait near a rocky structure, and the coloration looked darker in person — kind of purplish around the head and lighter toward the tail.</p>
<p data-start="814" data-end="890">If anyone has seen something similar, I’d really appreciate your thoughts.</p>
