Needle eye can be tough with mono though depending on how much of an edge there is on the inside eye of the hook.

I honestly think time saved wouldnt equal fish caught.
I can think maybe of one time...maybe once, I caught a Spanish on a mud minnow. I think peanut ponies are way better for the big ones.
