Anyone with a hydraulic press can straighten it. Machine shop is good suggestion if you don't have a buddy with one. Most auto shops will have a jack style operated press as well.

I think Herc55 is right, the chirp models have more bells on them. My two units have been flawless so far. I would arrange for a repair and look into upgrading software or to chirp.

So a friend is moving his Bavaria Ocean 47 sailboat down that way and he drafts right at 7 feet. Going out that inlet with it bumpy he would need to look for minimum 10 depth.
