I haven't been there in over a year or so, but if I'm not mistaken, the ramp has just been completely redone, and if I remember correctly the canal is at least5 feet deep.

You do not need one for blackfins, but they are required for yellowfins and bluefins, even for recreational boats.

Never tried that one, but I have heard about soaking fish in soft drinks before. Kings are not an extremely firm fish, I would be a little hesitant about soaking them in anything, but that's just me.
