get one of capt brants customs from the oi fishing center
he has 3 different weights ,with the heaviest being @ 22 lbs. large webbing , therefore less material and sinks fast.

mono has stretch braid has none.. you need atleast some stretch in most situations.

Mono is preferred IMO for trolling for kings and mahi

Braid is best for spinning reels but you still need som ...

you can always walk out there to cast if you don't have a long rod. And for spinning reels, braid is a must IMO, you can fit alottttt more on there than mono and stronger line.
