Wow what a first day - 7 boated and 2 still hooked up. Wolverine just weighed a 588 lb big girl.
Would have been a blast to be out there today, over 30 total bill releases.

Listened all day, couldn't get any work done. Those boys at the weigh station gotta be tired, epic start.

Over 45 total releases today. By far the best year since 2003.

Taking it to the wire. 2 headed in now with approx 8pm ETA, one of which took 2 hours to get in the boat after the fight was over, and Wall Hanger just boated theirs as I was typing this.

My understanding is a grander is on the way in....due around 8:30pm to the dock. It was SOO big they could not get it through the door and were dragging it. At last report they have onboard and inbound.

Kind of what I was thinking that one must be, same boat weighed a 460something on Monday but then today spent 2 hours trying to get this one in the boat and still couldn't get the whole thing in.

capn rich I was thinking the same thing when they backed in ,that fish was just huge the weigh station guys were scratching their heads for a moment. it had quite a bit of meat torn up from dragging or loading and unloading it had to be in the upper 900 category the tail from tip to tip was about 4 ft. wide.

Anyone know why the Theresa Jean was disqualified? Apparently they were because they don't show up on the board any longer. There are rumors swirling but no statement from the tournament committee or the TJ crew that i could find providing clarification.

Both fish possibly considered either gaffed, boated, or both. One was not presented to weigh master = 400 point penalty off largest fish weighed.
