I donít know where Folsom Lake is but check your local kayak shops for Demo Days. A lot have end of season sales on New and rental kayaks. Demo days let you try it out before you buy it. Also think about renting several during several outings to see what fits you b

I'd look for a Wilderness systems tarpon 120 or ride 135, both these are sit on tops. Any of the Ocean Kayak sit on tops would be fine as well. Native makes some nice boats as well.

Price depends on features, rudder, seat, movable foot braces, etc.

I try and pick them up used on craigslist when they pop up for around $5-700, new they will buck you $1,200 or more.

Its right next to Folsom Prison. Its where all the waste water/sewage from the prison is collected. eew

This is just from another spam/ads post just like the other guy on here (offshoreoffice) who is always talking about going out fishing with whoever but he always put the links to his clickbait youtube channel in here or a link to a specific product that he is trying to promote/sell. I am sure Capt Dave will be shutting these guys down soon. Seems like this site is getting more and more of them each day.

My son fishes kayaks. He is currently on his 4th kayak. It is an old town predator. The grayish black sit on top model. I never liked any of them until he got the predator. It's hard to turn over and if you want to stand up to fish it is very stable. We stole his for $500. Not a scratch on it. Got is from an army doctor that couldn't take it with him. Just happened to be looking at FB market place at the right minute. It was the one good thing that came from wife's time on FB.

From my experience a sit in model kills the hell out of my back after about 39 min so I don't recommend them.

Kathy I fish a lot out of canoes at OKI so do not do a rollover on a oyster bar. NC's oyster shells are sharper than a razor blade trust me !! Watched Hank Parker rollover twice in one show. ROFLOL
