Capt. Dave- I seemed to recall you could previously hover over any coordinate and it would show the sea temp next to the GPS#. Is that still available or simply a setting that needs to be turned on?

Dave am I missing something in the waypoints section. We have waypoints but will we get the "my waypoints" option like we used to have? Thanks.

You click the map to get the lay Lon - value of whatever dataset you have open

Example....

You turn on Sat and cloro....
You click the map and the left side will fly out and show you depth- lay-Lon- sat- glorious where ever you clicked.

Yep.....No more My Waypoints....

2 reasons.....it was very seldom used and they were constantly trying to hack the system with it.

The old map will still be running for another year so if you subscribe to Seaview it will all still be there but there is no plans for a My waypoints feature in the new map.

Are ReefCast and WaveCast the same thing on the map? (nevermind, found Reefcast but it doesn't seem to change the map when I click it). With WaveCast, is there a legend for what the colors mean on the wave height and period layers?

ReefCast should open the graph in a pop up. Did your pop up blocker block it?

Got it. Was expecting something to happen when I checked the "ReefCast" box, but it worked once I clicked a spot on the map.

My bad, long day...

Dave, I'm not seeing options for salinity, sea surface height, MLD, etc. on the new chart?

Thanks!

Look under the SeeCast options for today and tomorrow.

Works like a tall dog on an iPad Pro.

Well done Captain Tilley!
