Iím new so I might have just gotten lucky but why not just use ballyhoo instead? I had to do that last week when I couldnít find any cigar minnows and it worked out well. Is there really a big difference?

I actually like the ballyhoo better. Break the bill off and purge the poop. They last a lot longer than cigars bc they donít wash out like cigars.

If out of OKI, Southport, CBI. hit Mt. Dirfy's and jig up all you want. Also some of the biggest Spade fish I've ever seen.

18nm out of the mouth of Cape Fear run approx 150deg. it right off the shoals. Just run towards the FPT and hug the shoals. Its in 20-30' of water.
