After 3 1/2 years I have over looked one of the most important words in the Bible. Its a very little word that is shorter than GOD. That one 2 character word is the difference in life and death, light and darkness, seeing and being blind, everlasting life or eternal death. Everyone loves John 3:16, and I do too. But, read it good and find the little word that makes all the difference in the examples I listed. Now that I know the key word in many verses, I am sure of my salvation, and I want you to be also. I used it five times in this post. What is it ???

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
For God so loved the world (people/you), that HE sent HIS only begotten Son, that Whosoever "BELIEVES 'IN' HIM", shall not perish but have everlasting life.

It is an unqualified surrender of the whole of one's being in dependence upon Him. It is wholly trusting and relying upon Him for all things. Friends, I want to let all know that we are stiill having a 9;am Anglers For Christ service at Old Ferry Marina in Sneads Ferry.

As Paul said in the beginning of every letter he wrote that God put in the Bible,
"Grace and Peace to you from God our Father and the (Our) Lord Jesus Christ. I have been MIA for a while. 1st. It's no excuse but I lost my password.
2nd. For a couple years now my wife has had health issues. 3rd. I lost my Dad and a little later my brother. The two thousand twentys have have been a roller coaster ride. Please forgive me. My one prayer is that you all whom haved confessed your love for Jesus, is that you are still IN HIM, I know Jesus is still IN You! Though some don't think so, WE need HIM more than ever. Lets get this ANGLER'S For CHRIST mission going again. Thanks Capt. Dave

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
"Greater is he that is in me." In this passage the Apostle John is addressing believers as “dear children.” He is telling the believers that they are from God and have overcome the world. John informs the believers that they are only able to overcome the world because the One who is in them is greater than the one who is in the world.
What Does it Mean 'Greater Is He That Is In Me'?
“Greater is He that is in me” is referring to God in you--the Holy Spirit (“What does 1 John 4:4 mean?” Bible Ref). At the moment of salvation, all believers receive the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity, which means He is God. God is the One who is inside of us.
The “one who is in the world” is Satan. Numerous times throughout the Bible, we are told that Satan is the “god” of the world. 2 Corinthians 4:4 says, “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
Therefore, when John says the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world, he is saying that God is greater than the devil.
All believers have overcome the devil because we have placed faith in Christ. Believers are no longer blinded by the devil and his demons. When the individual places faith in Christ, they are given freedom and we have had our eyes opened to the truth of the gospel. Source; Christianity.com

Jesus made it clear that if we follow Him, it will cost us something. It costs us a cross according to Luke 9:23. If you want to follow Him, you will have to die to self daily, and by dying, you actually live!!

When he realized it, he saw God coming closer with a suitcase in his hand.
Dialogue between God and Dead Man:
God: Alright son, it’s time to go
Man: So soon? I had a lot of plans...
God: I am sorry but, it’s time to go
Man: What do you have in that suitcase?
God: Your belongings
Man: My belongings? You mean my things... Clothes... money...
God: Those things were never yours, they belong to the Earth
Man: Is it my memories?
God: No. They belong to Time
Man: Is it my talent?
God: No. They belong to Circumstance
Man: Is it my friends and family?
God: No son. They belong to the Path you travelled
Man: Is it my wife and children?
God: No. they belong to your Heart
Man: Then it must be my body
God: No No... It belongs to Dust
Man: Then surely it must be my Soul!
God: You are sadly mistaken son. Your Soul belongs to me.
Man with tears in his eyes and full of fear took the suitcase from the God's hand and opened it...
Empty...
With heartbroken and tears down his cheek he asks God...
Man: I never owned anything?
God: That’s Right. You never owned anything.
Man: Then? What was mine?
God: your MOMENTS.
Every moment you lived was yours.

God is great and you are loved.
The Bible tells us that Jesus promised to never leave those who choose to follow Him. He promised that they could experience His peace in His constant presence.
Jesus can be our inner stability, our security, and our comfort. These will never leave us. If believers dwell IN the One who has overcome the world! He will defend you.

The Bible tells us that Jesus promised to never leave those who choose to follow Him. He promised that they could experience His peace in His constant presence.
