My dad has a Worldcat 280 CCX. I’d like to put a 1kw shoot through in it instead of the medium chirp shoot through it came with. What shops do a good job at this? It may require glass work to be done since they made a low point in the bilge. Is it worth going from a 600w to a 1kw? We are out of Emerald Isle, NC and fish mostly 250 and under. I am trying to push out more lately, that may go up to 400-800 bottom fishing next year!
