2004 Big Rock Classic
March 4, 2004 – The 2004 Rules and Brochure are hot off the press and have been mailed to Big Rock’s mailing list including all past participants.
The 2004 rules include the new Level IV, Winner Take All level for $2500. Participants must enter Level’s I, II and III to enter in the Winner Take All category. The Winner Take All Level is for the first place blue marlin winner and with a 50 boat entry would net the winner additional $100,000. Should no one in Level IV win first place, 85% of Level IV will be returned to Level IV participants equally.
The Circle Hook rule has been amended for 2004 to include any hook regarded as a circle hook that is designated by the manufacturer. In other words, no manufacturer designated for circle hook use.
The new brochure gives a quick overview of the tournament and includes information on the beautiful Crystal Coast regarding accommodations, marinas and area airports.
