2006 OYSTER SEASON Preston P. Pate, Jr., Director, Division of Marine Fisheries, hereby announces that the oyster harvest season WILL CLOSE as follows: I. BRUNSWICK COUNTY Effective sunset Wednesday, March 15, 2006. ALL COASTAL FISHING WATERS Effective sunset Friday, March 31, 2006. III. GENERAL INFORMATION: A. This proclamation is issued under the authority of N.C.G.S. 113-170.4; 113-170.5; 113-182; 113-221.1; 143B-289.52; and N.C. Marine Fisheries Rules 15A NCAC 3H .0103, 3K .0201, 3K .0202, and 3K .0205. B. It is unlawful to violate the provisions of any proclamation issued by the Fisheries Director under his delegated authority pursuant to N.C. Fisheries Rule15A NCAC 3H .0103. C. Oysters marketed from private beds must be accompanied by a certification form as required by N. C. Marine Fisheries Rule 15A NCAC 3K .0205.
