DGPS service

Effective April 1, 2004, the United States Coast Guard and the Canadian Coast Guard will be coordinating DGPS service along our common border, providing all users with a seamless DGPS Service. For DGPS users transiting along the Canadian-United States border, the transition from one system to the other will be transparent. This is made possible through coordination of almanac data and the exchange of information regarding operation, maintenance, and repair of DGPS services.
