SELENDANG AYU bow section ANCHORAGE, Alaska-The most recent weather front caused significant degradation of the SELENDANG AYU bow section. Today’s over flight showed the bow was almost completely submerged and listing at a sharp angle, as compared to just two days ago when the bow was low in the water but upright. Only a light sheen was visible in the area. The Unified Command in Unalaska has little hope that any fuel tanks remain intact on the bow section.
