The BFT are here! Better every day… we have unloaded a 92″, 91″ and 86″ along with a handful of 74- 80″ fish.
The weather as always has been a factor …… Mon – Thurs this week is looking much better … let’s hope the availability of bait supports the arrival of more BFT …
Portside Marina has 4 sets of buyers on site for the fishermen to interview and choose from. It is a sellers market at the moment because of a lack of wild fish to sell in Japan ……… this of course can change very quickly.
Fishermen may choose to sell direct upon unloading to a buyer or consign to a buyer for auction on the Japanese market. Also, as a third choice fishermen may sell their fish through an in-house auction.
