Marine Fisheries Commission (MFC) Civil Penalty Remission/ Law Enforcement Committee The first meeting of the Marine Fisheries Commission (MFC) Civil Penalty Remission/ Law Enforcement Committee will be held Monday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at the Craven County Cooperative Extension Service Office, located at 300 Industrial Drive in New Bern. The committee will discuss potential law enforcement legislative items for the 2006 session of the General Assembly. The MFC had recommended the creation of a Violation Point System that would assign points to licensees based on the type and frequency of fisheries violations.
