The committee will receive an update on the Hard Clam and Oyster FMP reviews, and will be asked to review and select a position on the following issues:
· Increased Dredging Restrictions in Pamlico Sound Bays
· Mechanical vs. Hand Harvest Trip Limit Differences
· Shellfish Depuration Plants
· Cownose Ray Interactions and Their Effects on Clams and Oysters
· Wards Creek Shellfish Management Area
· Effects of an Open License on Shellfish Fisheries
The committee will also be asked to provide comments on other Hard Clam and Oyster FMP issues.
