New Tool Helps Oyster Growers Prepare for Changing Ocean Chemistry

 NOAA-funded researchers developed new technology housed inside a heavy black plastic case to estimate the amount of carbonate in seawater. Mook Sea Farm in Maine is using this "black box" to monitor the acidity of the seawater pumped into the oyster hatchery.
