CG Searching For Missing Swimmer PORTSMOUTH, Va., –The Coast Guard is searching for a 20-year-old man in the water two miles west of Cape Charles, Va. after he jumped off of his boat without a life jacket to go swimming. The man jumped off of his boat around 5:15 p.m. today. The Coast Guard was notified and immediately launched multiple assets. A 41-foot utility boat from Coast Guard Station Cape Charles, Va., an HH-60 rescue helicopter from Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., and the Coast Guard Cutter Beluga are all searching for the man.
