Coast Guard Rescues Two, Still Searching for One Chincoteague, Va. – Two fisherman were rescued from an overturned life raft in the heavy surf off of Assateague Island, Va., shortly after 8:30 a.m. today, a third man is still missing.. A Coast Guard 47-foot motor life boat from Staion Chincoteague, Va., and an HH-65 Dolphin search and rescue helicopter from Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., responded after the Coast Guard Rescue Coordination Center (RCC) located in Portsmouth, Va., recieved an EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) alert at 6 a.m. today. The Coast Guard is searchng for the missing crewman with a shore party and 47-foot motor lifeboat from Station Chincoteague and the HH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Air Station Atlantic City. The Coast Guard is investigating the cause the accident.
