BOSTON — Search and rescue crews from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod and Station Point Allerton are looking for the owner of a kayak which was found adrift near Nahant, Mass., at 8:09 a.m., Monday.
The 1st District command center received a call stating that a green and grey inflatable kayak had been found in the vicinity of Nahant Island with no one inside.
The Massachusetts Enviromental Police and Nahant Police Department are conducting shoreline searches.
Anyone who recognizes the kayak or has information is urged to call the 1st District Command Center at 617-223-8555.
