I understand the frustration of ammo prices. I bought 3000 rounds of .223 for .34 a round in mid-December before the shootings. $1 a round asking price is the norm the past 6 weeks even though ammo manufacturers haven't changed their prices. Probably a supply and demand problem right now, but if the supply improves and these prices continue...it's price gouging. Don't pay these high prices and things will likely improve.

Looks like much of the ammo shortage is over,

look at the prices......

http://ammoseek.com/?gun=rifle&cal=113&grains=0&mfg=&keywords=&sortby=cpr&noblanks=on&.cgifields=noblanks

Buck a round is now a deal,
plenty listed at 2 bucks each....and not even M855.

Ammo prices on .223 have been going down, but others have been going up. 2 weeks ago, we were having to sell .223 for 22.95 for a box of 20. Now the same ammo is 9.99 for 20. 9mm was 17.99 for 50, now it's 21.99 for 50. It sucks all around. I'm ready for the dust to settle.

I don't understand everyone's frenzy about this. Prices will go back to normal sooner if pessimistic crazy people stop getting scared that big brother is going to take your guns. Obviously its not going to happen, no matter what bro-mama wants to do. He cannot defecate on our Constitution and take guns from United States citizens. The liberal media has even begun to see that all their yammering back and forth over gun control is pointless. They have moved on to start talking about other pointless issues and push there increasing socialist agendas upon uninformed individuals.

The sooner people realize this the sooner the astronomical inflation will subside.

Here every Friday morning at the local Dick's (name is appropriate)there will be a line of customers sometimes 20 deep wiating for the store to open, why?,because the delivery of ammo comes in on Thursday night after closing, after lunch time Friday or sooner its all gone ! Theres a lot of folks stockpiled with ammo I guess they are waiting for zombies or whatever but they are ready, that ammo will be there after they are dead and gone unless they shoot it or sell it because nothing will happen for them to use it all up.

Dicks in Garner = .223 @ $9.00 per box with a limit of 3 boxes

Perry's in Wendell = .223 @ $18 per box with a limit of 10 boxes. They had plenty there last Sat. Hell @ $18 a box - they can keep them!!!!!!

Many, Many stores are price gouging and we all will remember them when we are ready to buy another gun......
