My best friend Jeff and I met at camp Thursday and plowed food plots through Friday until our butts grew to the tractor seats. Got up Saturday morning and Jeff smoked a Doe right off the bat, dropped her in her tracks. I saw several deer Saturday but they stayed in that magical 48 yard range. We decided to hit up another club that we hunt Sunday night and video the hunt. We hung our stands 40 yards apart and had 3 Does run the gauntlet between us. I videoed until they were 20 yards and picked up my bow and dropped one where she stood, unfortunately the one closest to Jeff locked up behind a tree and he couldn't get a shot off. No bucks but great weekend with my best friend and backstrap in the fridge. And by the way Rage broadheads get it done!!
