It's on tomorrow. My buddy is going to stalk from the other side of the game lands and push them towards me in my stand. One or hopefully both of us WILL leave with meat.

Well how'd it go? We're you able to lay any of the three down this time?
Hope so, nothing like it.

Where I grew up going 0/10 was pretty normal for deer hunting! It took me 4 years to tag my first one! Now 30 years later I can take my time and enjoy my hunts. Give it time......patience...you did not go out fishing and learn all you know in 10 trips did you?
Good luck, there are still a few days left, I have killed my deer on the last day many times.......

If you take one, I'd take one of the smaller ones for meat. The mature doe has a good chance of being bred already since the rut has passed. She may even have twins again.

Buddy... I have shot many of the larger doe and dropped them in their tracks. The little one's will hang around and you will get a chance at one of them also. If there are plenty of deer in your area I would fill the freezer in a heart beat. The deer are really over populated and need to be thinned out a little. You will be helping the heard by doing so. I shoot all of the little deer I can just because they are so tender and great to eat. I have no care for horns at all. The larger bucks are not a good to eat so I will shoot a doe standing beside a buck unless he is a 130"+.

GAME LANDS = Blast them all...fill the freezer...or someone else will!

Well I have a feeling that someone beat me to it.... or they have gone completely nocturnal. I have been out four times in the last five days and have not seen them. I have jumped a few on the way to the stand but I think they have been shot at too much this season because they will not move during the day. I am sure the fact that it has been so warm is not helping the matter either. Oh well only a few days left ... no time to quit now. Back at it in the morning!

Went one last time before years end due to travels till the new year. Went ahead and dropped one of the small ones we been speaking of for the freezer. Knocked her down with a .270 from about 245yrds. The meat makes fine stew and sausage. Loaded her up on the front end loader and carried her back to the house to clean under the lights. Good luck to you Czoubek. I know you'll get one before the end with the cooler nights.
