My son inherited a bunch of guns from my wife's Dad when he passed away. The problem is- they are in Arizona. Talked to UPS and it appears they have to be shipped from a FFL dealer to a FFL dealer. Is there anyone in the New Hanover/Brunswick County area that would be willing to help me out? I don't mind paying for your time and effort but don't really know all that is involved. My son and daughter are going to Arizona in March and I would like to be able to find someone to receive them.
It's mostly rifles and shotguns but there are some handguns and I understand that shipping handguns is more difficult.

If you ship a gun, it is a $25 dollar transfer fee per gun. If you send a handgun, you have to have a handgun permit to pick it up. Give me a call and I can help you oout. 1(910) 934-2628.

The fee is based on what the dealers charge you for using their liscense and keeping records.

I got one in from a shipping dealer for free and the one he shipped to charged me ten bucks.

Any dealer can do a transfer. What they charge you is up to them. You will need permits for the hand guns. I have done 2 trades with Capt. John and he is a great guy.
