Hey yall. We just moved to Ivanhoe. I just got a new muzzle loader and can't find a place to hunt with it. I don't have a driver's license so that make the distance pretty limited as to where I can go. I have a scooter and that's what I will be taking hunting. I looked at Bladen Lakes Forest, Whitehall Plantation and singletary tract which is all pretty close by, but Bladen lakes is a restricted fire arm zone and whitehall plantation is permit only as well as singletary tract. Does anyone know of anywhere I can hunt with a muzzle loader in this area? Thanks

Too young to drive? If that's the case, you should get lots of offers.

Not too young to drive. Lost my license for drinking and driving a few years back. I don't drink now and just can't afford to get my license back yet. I am semi dis abled, can't work an 8 hour job or can't stand on my feet too long without having to sit down for 20 minutes all due to heat exautions from working too hard when I was able to work. I do woodwork in my shop here at home, birdhouses, spice racks, just what ever someone wants. That gives me a little money to help the wife out with the bills. To get my license back, I have to go to dwi school which seems to be over a couple of hundred dollars or more, and pay about 375.00 in tickets.

Thanks for the honesty as that says a lot about someone to tell the truth when it isn't always the prettiest picture. I wish I was further south as I would take you along. Past is just that, the past. As long as you are headed down the right road now everything will work out. Father always said to fix something right make sure you fix yourself first and everything will follow suit. If your new to the area just start making friends with the same interests, in that area you are sure to hook up with someone.
