This will be my first duck season in the Carolina Beach area. I dont have access to a boat here and would like to hunt this area. Let me know if you have an extra seat on your boat. I'm more than happy to chip in for expenses or even breakfast!

I don't hunt that area but if you have spots to go I'm sure we can work something out. I have a 17 ft custom duck boat. Pic included.0613110_r1_018_7a_205.jpg

Nice Rig! I should have specified that I'm willing to travel an hour or so in any direction (except east LoL ).

I'm currently putting a blind on my 18' jon boat and live in Wilmington. This is my first season getting into it as well. So far I have just tried the river without much luck. I would like to try some salt marshes in the area but don't really know where to start. Maybe we can get together and give it a shot sometime.

I just have to rig a blind on the boat for the season...I hunt everywhere I can, hunted a lot of salt in Pender/Onlsow county last year, would like to get some Buzzards bay hunts in this season. Shoot me a Pm or email ajb998@uncw.edu

SkirttChaser tell us more about your boat is that a TDB? Very nice diver rig for sure!

Consider going a little more than an hour or so from Wilimington to get into the ducks, working on finding a good size jon boat for future seasons as well. As for going east consider it too, SEA DUCKS are cool to hunt.

That place looks awful familar. Those Ring Necks can be a tough act somedays. Looks like some good shooting on someones part.
