Well, I finally caved into the stick & string and bougt a crossbow-- Parker Tornado F4. My question is which broadheads seem to perform well with these units?--- seems alot of good reports on the Grim Reaper in 100 gr.
Will be attached to Parker Red Hot Carbon bolts.

I'm going to have to say rage either one the two blade or 3 blade you won't have to look long.

I don't think you can beat the Red Hot 100 grain fixed blades. On my Parker they shoot same as field tips so easy to tune in. No worry about proper deployment and they do tremendous damage.

3 Blade rage for deer and thin skinned critters- they make one for crossbow bolts. Not sure what the difference is other than the color of the broadhead and the packaging.
I have been using them for 2 years - no complaints
Dont shoot at the same spot on your target twice without pulling the first bolt out - you can trash a couple bolts real quick with these things, mine is amazingly accurate out to 40 yards.
For hogs I switch to a fixed blade slick trick - they are not quite as consistent as the Rage in my set-up but still very accurate.
I also use the carbon bolts.

whatever you get and shoot use same weight target heads yes it makes a difference,I have found 100 to be a good weight both ways and so has my hunting partner.

I got the 125gr. Rage mechanical that opens to 1.75". Comes with a practice tip that is shaped and weighs the same. Haven't hit meat with it yet(haven't had crossbow long), but looks SCARY!

Better check with what weigh you crossbow requires on bolt weight. I shoot a buckcommander and I have to shot 125 grain heads. I will never ever shot anything but rage 2 blade 125 grain heads. My bow shoots 365 fps and haven't had a single problem with them. Have killed about 7 deer with the rage. I wouldn't shot the rage crossbows broadhead either. I wouldn't give up a 1/4 inch of cut just for it to say crossbow. Talk to rage about what the addvantages of the crossbows head are becasue the others are rated for 400 fps and they said there just designed for crossbows.
