Paige Scores

Decided to try something a little different this weekend. Being the moon has been full and not seeing much activity we decided to sllep in and go to the stands around 10 and stay til 2. So we set off. Not 10 minutes after getting in my stand out walks the buck pictured. Couldn't get on him so he walks off. Text Paige what had happened and let her know he was heading her way. She's about 500 yards away from me so I know it's a long shot but sure enough she texts me back about 30 minutes later that a large deer had got by her too. My heart sank, but after another 15 minutes I hear the shot. She had taken him. Her largest to date. She tells me to sit tight but that wasn't happening. The buck had been shot earlier in the season and had an open wound on top of his back. But Paige's shot was perfect. Buck ran about 30 yards and fell.
