Has anyone ever used or is currently using any of the vortex rifle scopes? If so, how do you like them? I'm needing a scope for my new play toy and thought about trying something different than nightforce. Don't get me wrong, I love my nightforce and it's not about saving money because the vortex scope I'm looking at is comparable to the nightforce price. Just thinking about trying something new. Any input on this brand would be appreciated. Specifically, whether or not they will return to zero after adjusting elevation for different target distances.
My brother just got a strike eagle II. It's pretty nice.....and extremely clear. Can't say about adjusting for different elevations then returning to zero.....but it has held zero for several 100 rounds..
Great brand. Great glass. I have three of them and a pair of binos and they're all great. Lifetime warranty, no matter what. Good customer service too.
Thanks guys. I believe I'm going to bite the bullet and order one today. Going to get the Razor HD AMG 6-24x50. Hopefully it will return to zero like it should. If it don't at least it has a lifetime warranty so I can return it and get the nightforce.
I made the switch to them a few years ago. Very good clear glass. I have a couple of the viper pst ffp. Love them. Customer service and warranty is top notch. The razor line is excellent. We sell more vortex than anything else at our shop and we are dealers for all the high dollar brands.

Good to hear! I ordered one. The one I mentioned above. Should be here in the next few days. It's going to be sitting on top of a Barrett 98b in .338 Lapua. I'll update the thread with my opinion on it after shooting with it some
