Looking for some land where I can teach my sons to hunt. Will be targeting small game only and would love to find something within a 1 hour drive of Charlotte
Willing to trade fishing trips for access to hunt squirrel, rabbit, birds etc..
I hear some of the best rabbit hunting is on the islands in the Capefear river. I may be wrong as I have been before. Maybe double up with rabbit and trout, who knows.

Rich, can't help you out that way, but if you and the lil' Squids want to detour by this way on your way to/from the coast, let me know. Our club land is short on bunnies thanks to hawks, owls, coyotes, fire ants, etc., but it's thick with squirrels. Fat ones too, been eating "deer" corn since September! If ya'll want to do that sometime, just give me a call or shoot me a line, happy to have ya'll.
